Balance & stability¶
- Perform a hover test in a safe area
- If drift/instability increases:
- re-check center of gravity
- reduce payload
- stiffen the mount (remove flex)
Camera clearance¶
- Ensure props/landing gear do not dominate the phone’s view
- Avoid occluding the phone’s depth sensor area
Pre-flight checklist (hardware)¶
- Mount rigid (no rattle)
- Phone locked (cannot slide)
- Camera view clear
- All straps secure
- Emergency stop/manual takeover ready
